...the TimeWarp again!' A couple updates to the 'warp. Plenty of space...no waiting! (URL) (21 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Laser Tower

Totally. I remember seeing this before and then got caught up on Keith's other creations and forgot to go back. Like the Hot Weather assortment, the base is wonderful in it's 'dirty' details. I'd really like to see more of the ambulance ship on the (...) (21 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space)

Small....packed with detail....great colour scheme....dig it! Cheers, -G (...) (21 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Laser Tower

(...) I agree with you Felix. The 'texture' of this model is intense. It goes beyond mere greebling. Heck, the Medical Ship that is landed on the pad looks like an amazing MOC in itself, and yet it is easily dwarfed by the details and scale of the (...)   Re: Moonbase Observatory

(...) So much to read around here, I must have missed any conversation on a "sphere generator". I am fascinated as to what that might be. Perhaps a CAD term? (Haven't been reading .cad) -Hendo (21 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.space)

  Re: HD-73 "Grubworm"

Praise: That thing is so SNOTty that I'm not exactly sure how it's held together. Can't go wrong with red/grey. Nit-Pick: Link to the model directory, not the root directory. It took some browsing to find the model. ((URL) can see a dropship (...) (21 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase Observatory

(...) Very true! In addition, photos of this fine observatory have already been discussed here: (URL) That's a gorgeous rendering, though! Dave! (21 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.space)

  Re: Laser Tower

This is by no means a new creation, but I was shocked at the lack of response Keith got for this one. The whole industrial/military feel is great; which is hard to do since most MOCs that try to look serious still look 'cute'. Your stuff rocks, (...)   Re: PCS serves up a steaming cup of new MOC

Oh that wonderful Duplo egg...can you ever go wrong? Awesome stuff yet again from this line Chris. What new bit on this I really like is the use of the vented hoses as strapping around the engine pylons. It gives them a meaty, industrial look. And (...) (21 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase Observatory

(...) moves (...) In theory the top of the sphere should rotate indeed with the telescope and all. (...) Thanks! I made the sphere using the sphere generator! That is a great tool. Jaco (21 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase Observatory

(...) That is very very cool, I like it! I love it when people make stuff that moves on these modules. It makes for a good showpiece too :) The shape of the observatory itself is very nice. A good use of sculpture techniques there. Adrian -- (URL) (21 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase Observatory

(...) nice- (...) Thanks! (...) Pitty. But understandable. The .space newsgroup is one the most busy ones and I suppose if you are not into this moonbase stuff, you do not read it. Many people do read, but do not comment. But that is OK with me! (...) (22 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase Observatory

Re: Strange Find on Lego.com... Chris?

Hey, Dude, ya gotta take that down. I can't say much more about it at this time, hopefully soon. Not trying to be rude but this isn't public domain info. Chris <>< (22 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

Re: Strange Find on Lego.com... Chris?

(...) Hey Kyle. I too saw that exact same image over at the press section of Lego.com, But instead of leaving and going back like you did, I saved the image right then and there. I hope this is real. T. Deering P.S. (URL) (22 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

  HD-73 "Grubworm"

Hey guys, Wanted to let ya know about my newest MOC! Its called the "Grubworm", based on the "Reaver" from starcraft. I like this almost as much as I like my Hornet, but not quite ;) Its a mobile cannon, designed to get somewhere and stay there (...) (22 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
