  Re: small rocket mounting

(...) Heres an idea: you know those quasi-useless straws that were found in many of the SW sets (I think peeron calls them 'Technic Flex System Hose'). Anyway. they seem to be *exactly* the right outer-diameter to push thru a sequence of 1x1 round (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: small rocket mounting

Build a 1x1 "headlight" into the body of the missle? That way it can be attached many different ways. I use this all the time. Here, I even found the part: (URL) non-LEGO solution is to use the round version of this part: (URL) MEGABLOCKS or one of (...)   Re: New units for Terran Security Force and Beltworlds Alliance

(...) Thanks, I get get it now, I knew it had something to do with electromagnets but didn't know what they did. I wonder if you could make one of these out of lego that actually worked. It might, the bullet would be a magnet, with two magnets at (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: New units for Terran Security Force and Beltworlds Alliance

(...) Colin, your MOCs were what inspired me to build my Enforcer last year and get involved with LUGNet. Anyway, I like how your new mecha have a unified look, and the backstory support the look with interesting ideas about different manufacturers. (...)   Re: New units for Terran Security Force and Beltworlds Alliance

Neat-o! Mechs with classic vehicle windshields! Yep I like that! Your smaller style Mecha are like a power suit type design, vey cool. Keep em' comming! Your site has always been one of my favorites.   small rocket mounting

Has anyone come up with a good solution for mounting 1x1 round rockets/missles horizontally to the underside of wings or onto the back of armoured vehicles. I am trying to work up some nice, detachable missle racks for BrickWars. I would love to see (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New units for Terran Security Force and Beltworlds Alliance

The weapon modules rule! awesome awesome awwesome, did I mention...awesome! The rail gun is the best, it looks sweet, can anyone in the know please explain what rail guns shoot and how they fire?   Re: MOC: Akira-prise, NX-01

(...) Very nice rendition of the Akira-prise. I have been wanting to do some ships from Star Trek in that scale. Do you know hard it is to make a Defiant? :D Rick (24 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: MOC: Enterprise, NX-01

(...) Thanks Lindsay! It's always hard to make a round primary hull--but a secondary hull is even tougher. Not to mention the warp nacelles. That's why I haven't built an NCC-1701. The NX-01 wasn't easier, but it *was* less difficult. BTW, are you a (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

Getting my own fingers into this mech thing.

Hi, everyone! Seeing the general buzz that's always in .build.mecha and my desire to continue procrastinating on this grant proposal, I've been inspired to risk rendering a 20-year- old design into LEGO. It's from a universe I've been working on (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.build) !
