Build a 1x1 "headlight" into the body of the missle? That way it can be attached many different ways. I use this all the time. Here, I even found the part: (URL) non-LEGO solution is to use the round version of this part: (URL) MEGABLOCKS or one of (...) Has anyone come up with a good solution for mounting 1x1 round rockets/missles horizontally to the underside of wings or onto the back of armoured vehicles. (...) Thanks Lindsay! It's always hard to make a round primary hull--but a secondary hull is even tougher. Not to mention the warp nacelles. That's why I haven't built an NCC-1701.
