  Re: Anime help

(...) If I may, which book is this, and where did you get it? I saw a nice coffeetable-sized softcover of Mead designs at Bud Plant distribution's booth at a San Diego Comic Convention a few years back, and (stupidly) didn't buy it-- I've regretted (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Anime help

(...) Actually, you purchased an illegal bootleg set, most likely from Hong Kong or Taiwan. No twenty-six episode series has been released on three discs here in the US, let alone in Japan. The minimum is four discs, and that is usually only in box (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: lugnet.space.mecha?

(...) I would dislike this for several reasons: 1. The current schema is more appropriate... .space is for the "official" space theme, and .build.mecha tends to focus more on MOC building techniques (joint design, etc.) 2. Far more flamewars erupt (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

(...) <snip> Yes, those are quite nice. I used the same parts for the 'gear on my Space Police Viper. I do like the ones in the pictures, however, because they use the parts in two directions, which would give the ship a bit more stability than just (...)   Re: New bike...

(...) The Pounce turned out to be 18 studs long when I finished it. It's designed to be a smaller... almost scooter-like bike. Definitely marketed toward those who can't afford a larger more powerful one. : ) Todd Trotter (24 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Jain's Guide still lives

...I am really trying to work on Jain's Guide more (jains.has.it or www.wildlink.com/lego/jain)! :-) Jain's is intended as a central link out to the best in LEGO Space military hardware and battles, from mecha MOCs to stories about LEGO Spaceships (...) Steve & All, (...) Hey, I took those pictures! ; ) I wish I would have gotten more! Scott was having too much fun to worry about pictures! : ) (...)   Landing Gear (was: My MOC Fighter Plane (first posted))

(...) At the first MichLUG meeting, there was a ship with a very cool, but simple design for landing gear. Here are some picture links: (3 URLs) Unfortunately, they're all detail shots, and the ship is upside down. The basic idea is to put together (...)   Re: A new ship (Ves-X)

i have to say that i agree with everyone above, this is literally _the_ coolest ship i have seen yet, although it would be nice to have a smoother top to the main white body, i question the purpose and placement of the white hatches on the sides of (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

definitly paul, the best i've found are, in fact, cowboy bebop; i recently saw the first 5 episodes and just ordered the entire series on 3 dvds, w/english subtitles from ebay for about $37, and you'll probably be able to dfind the same (w/the buy (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Star Trek: Enterprise

I'm rather disappointed by the design of the new 'Old' Enterprise. It looks too 'modern' (i.e: it fits in with the designs of the Movies and Next Generation etc) to be a 'pre-UFP' ship. Too smooth, too much of a single intergrated hull design. (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.off-topic.fun)
