It looks fairly standard as a TIE Alternate, except the masterful use of red and yellow. This is something Ive been talking about the past few weeks - the purposeful use of color. Blue, black, grey and dk grey are the main colors and typical wisdom would tell you to stop there, and certainly not to add yellow and red. But these colors work so well, in part because they have such a clear purpose: they are guns. It is a beautiful, simple way to add color and highlight a cool feature. Classic-Space.com is currently undergoing a server update. More info when that is complete. Your curator for .space is none other than Lenny-bo-Benny, whom you can email with complaints or suggestions at: lenny.hoffman AT gmail.com. He is ineptly assisted by Tony Hafner, who is always amused to hear complaints about the Lennster at: lego AT hafhead.com. Rounding out the trio of ner-do-wells is Ley Ward, who is relatively sane. His voice of calm reason can be reached eventually at eonmusic AT sasktel.net35D3://zeFor the Newbies out there: .http://news.lugnet.com/space/?n=39092 Tony Hafner> has written an excellent post about things to keep in mind while building space. The post is easy to follow and very informative - excellent for a beginner who wants to go from so-so to butt-numbingly awesome! |
