How to react to controller with NQC?

Hi all,
I'm looking for a way to react to Spybots IR controller using NQC.
When I scan through the spybot.h in \Program Files\LEGO
Software\Products\Spybotics\Include I find many lines containing "message".
However, looking at the NQC documentation and the API definition I get the
impression
that everything around "message" is disabled in NQC for bricks of type
__SPY. :-(
Any ideas or code samples for work-arounds out there?
