Well what do you know...I install gcc 2.8.0 and still no luck. But a clue lurks
in the docs....and since I had none (clues that is) I read on. To compile c++
you must install libstdc 2.8.0. I find it and compile into gcc. Just for luck I
grab the NQC 1.3 source, compile and tada! Now I can move robots from linux
(and use the power of the shell). Not a big victory for some folks, big news at
my house. My NLSO is off course unmoved by this development (no pun intended).
BTW, www.marsrobot.com (my webserver) has been down due to a flirtation with
running it on LinuxPPC. LinuxPPC and Apache process had some issues, so I am
back to running MacOSX Server (well BSD really) on marsrobot. Sorry for the
downtime....

| I will pull gcc down tonight and try a fresh install...the gcc installation that came with openlinux is what I installed, and I am seeing make problems elsewhere now.
