Still a bit confused on this?
I am running WinXP and not sure where to use the SET command?
Opening up a DOS windows via CMD does show that I have this:
NQC_OPTIONS=-Trcx2
along with a lot of other windows variables but when I go and compile I still
get the error the OP was getting.

| (...) Thanks Dave. I didn't notice the RCX2 option in Bricxcc, works great now! Just to clarify, the only difference between RCX 1 & 2 (from the compile target POV) is the firmware it's running? ROSCO (20 years ago, 30-Oct-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)
