Okay, thanks to the input from some of you who have tried my revised RcxCC I
have recently fixed a few bugs and added a few more user-configurable
options. Find the latest revision to RcxCC at:
http://members.aol.com/johnbinder/rcxcc.zip
In this version you'll find:
1) Fixed the NQC launching bug so you can again launch NQC if it's on the
path or in the same directory as RcxCC.
2) Added user-configurable NQC timeout values.
3) Added user-configurable option to use NQC wherever possible (currently
that's compile, download, program change, and run). Added user-configurable
option to use -firmfast when you use NQC to download the firmware.
4) Fiddled with the toolbar. Moved the "show toolbar" and "show statusbar"
preferences to a View menu along with a couple other "view" sort of menu
items. The toolbar is now 4 little toolbars that are dragable and dockable
as well as shown/hidden individually.
5) The about box now reads the EXE version information for a few items it
displays.
6) Added user-configurable option to auto-save any modified files before
compiling.
I'm looking at implementing some user-requested features right now. If you
have any that you haven't emailed me yet please do so.

For now you can work around the problem by using the command-line parameters or by (...) (24 years ago, 27-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)
