First, I must apologise for posting the wrong URL to my update. It's

OK.
I bit the bullet & installed egcs 1.1.2 as well. I've confirmed two
things:
1. My memcpy/memset update doesn't break under egcs, and
2. gcc 2.95.2 causes more hassles with user programs.
I've written two proggies so far that barf when I compile with gcc & try
to run them on the RCX. Both work fine with egcs. I'm a bit short on
time at the moment, but over the next few days I'm gonna try & document
the problem so I can provide some meaningful info to the gcc developers.
Not being real familiar with the h8/300 doesn't help 8?(
Meanwhile, feel free to include my changes in 0.2.4.
