I already modified my utils Makefiles for using $(OS) that for Windows NT gives "Windows_NT" (and, now, I'm ready to commit :-) ... ), but I don't know how $(OS) evaluate for Win9x. $(shell uname) does not give "MSDOS" under cygnwin: it gives (...)
