I found out why I couldn't compile demo/first-c++

Make clean doesn't remove object files in lib/mint, lib/c++, or lib/c,
and legOS is shipped with compiled objects in there. Markus'
environment is somehow different from mine, and sensor.o was looking for
a symbol (something to do with getting a dynamic handler chain) which I
did not have to link against. Removing those objects allowed me to
compile.
I probably would have had lots of fun if I had tried compiling it under
Solaris. 9)
