Hi Jakob,
Search for "Electrical Data Link between 2 RCXs" thread on
lugnet.robotics.rcx.ncq
and various threads on lugnet.robotics (http://www.lugnet.com/robotics) such
as "CM-RCX" and more.
I'm finishing up a *NQC* input/output VLL lib that supports direct
electrical connection. But it's in NQC, because I want it to run on
CyberMaster.
I think that you can always try to do it in legOS. You simply have to know
that, it's possible to simulate the ON/OFF TouchSensor state with a Off() /
Float() (NQC commands) and that's that.
Then, you simply have to create a (or try to implement the existing LEGO
VLL) protocol.
Keep this list posted on the subject, because, after doing this in NQC, I
might give a try at doing it also in legOS (and finally achieving a
*standard* speed VLL *input* difficult to implement in NQC).

| Hi! Does anyone know if it is possible to have to RCXs communicate by connecting the motor outputs of one to the sensor inputs to the other? I have a slight feeling this could burn things due to the high-voltage (relatively) output of the RCX motor (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
