well, yesterday i promised to post some header file that makes it easy to program the sound timer for playing tunes in a memory saving way - here it is. ( see below, file notedefs.h ) the numbering scheme is N_<key>[m]_<number_of_octave> N_A_0 (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Carsten- I asked a local solaris guru, and he wrote me what could be a helpful note on solaris aio. I've filed it (apparently) in the wrong folder, but I'll try to post it tomorrow. Because dsound_play currently doesn't work for me, and because i wanted to make some noise under legOS with little memory and CPU footprint, i wrote a little function that plays arbitrary tones without using interrupts. OK, So I finally got LNP to do something :) I have a very simple program on one rcx which sends out something to another rcx which the second rcx gets in.
