Hi,
I've been using the lejos vision system to track a pattern of lights in the
ceiling. It splits the image into regions, selects the brightest, zooms in,
repeats, and so on. It then repeates this process for every point in the
pattern. It returns information such as coordinates of pattern points, distance
of pattern centroid from centre of frame, etc.
The software works fine with a static image. However, it is planned to mount
this system on a moving robot. Because it takes a number of seconds to analyse
the image, it would be helpful if I could analyze a static snapshot rather than
analyzing the realtime video stream, as if the image is changing during the
actual analysis srange results might be found ...
I haven't found a way to achieve this so far.... any ideas?
Cheers,
Ben
