Maybe not exactly Lego, but..... Has anyone any thoughts about using the IR Tower to communicate with a Laptop's built in IR transceiver? Maybe set it up using Direct Cable Connection?? If I should ask this elsewhere, please put me straight :) (26 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Hi all, Perhaps someone can clarify this for me... I've been looking at the LEGO P-brick Script code language documentation that comes with the RIS 2.0 SDK PreAlpha. Indeed, your circuitry is interesting (I'm not sure though it would save time, since soldering can be pretty tedious...). But the challenge here is to make it out of Lego.
