I'm trying to write one, but currently only receiving works.
Sending is difficult because nobody else uses interrupt out transfers
to send data, there's no working driver that can be used as an example.
It's not even clear whether the usb core and the uhci driver handle
this kind of transfers correctly, it might be a bug there that keeps
it from working.
I posted the version of the driver to the linux-usb-devel list, and
also made a little website at http://legousb.sourceforge.net .
Everybody is welcome to help with it.
There's also another option of writing a user space driver that
uses libusb or jUSB and usbdevfs to communicate with the device
that might be worth pursueing.

This is the Windows device name, it will be different under Linux
(/dev/usb/something). Don't expect anything installed by default
for the foreseable future.
