 | | Sign of center pin on power adaptor

I am looking for the sign of the center pin on the RCX 1.0 power adaptor plug. I have a DC 9v 200ma transformer and want to plug it into the RCX but I do not know what the sign is on the center of the plug. It looks like the rush on buying the old (...) (...) I think John Hansen actually made a pbForth terminal in NQC. My RCXTcl works on a PC, but I never did get around to packaging it for Macs. Probably because I don't have one myself :-) That being said, once you have a terminal program to talk (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth, lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Is there a usable version of pbForth for Mac OS X and the USB tower? I have NQC, so there should be no trouble downloading firmware, and Mac OS X has good terminal software, but how do I set up things so that terminal communication goes via the USB (...) (...) If you load RCX2 firmware in a RCX1 brick (they are fully compatible*), you'll have acces to this function (and all other RCX2 specific possibilities) Philo *Except for some minor differences in IR hardware. (19 years ago, 25-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

NQC: with RCX2, it has a function to display a user defined value. Is there a way to do it with RCX 1.0? How about just to display the current mail value with RCX1.0? Suggestion? Thanks in advance. --Elizabeth (19 years ago, 24-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

(...) Yes, that should be the latest version. (...) That is correct. You shouldn't need to do anything else. At one point, I made some changes to the firmware so the program could also access the run button. But, normally all that is handled in the (...) I have a big and somewhat complicated BrickOS program that I believe is reasonably well behaved.
