For example, when you set the channel to 5 using the technique mentioned above, only some of the remote packets reflect 5 as the channel number, while others still (...) (...) Yikes! Do other forms of tower communication seem to work fine from within BricxCC? Does NQC download firmware in either fast or slow mode with your USB or serial towers? Hello John, Worked fine for me, with the following setup: RCX2.0, USB tower, BricxCC 3.3.7.6, firm0328.lgo, Win2000. Distance between tower and brick: 20 cm. Download time: 1'25" I tried also 50 cm away (worked) and 1 m away (failed). Philo (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
