I'm having trouble finding a maths header file. It's usually called "math.h". I need to do stuff like sine and cosine, and use the "abs" function to make a number positive. I have BricxCC compiling and downloading leJOS programs now. The support for leJOS is integrated in much the same way as BrickOS support is. BricxCC generates a Makefile and executes it using Bash. Can anyone tell me how to set-up byte code commands in NQC? I want to use some of the Spybot Firmware commands for robot distance and direction to make two spybots work together, but I don't think that functionality has been added to NQC, yet. If (...) Here's another solution worth mentioning: (URL) uses the 3-12V regulated power supply available from Radio Shack (part no. 273-1667): (URL) adapter cable is part no. 273-1742. I did more or less that, but I put in a 7809 voltage regulator to make sure that I did no damage to my RCX (wall warts sometimes output as much as 5 volts above the printed voltage). Since I do the whole web-controllable-rover deal with my bot, it tends to go quite a distance. I recently purchased a USB tower from Pitsco and I must say, even WITH the long-range enabled on the control panel, the Serial tower still beats it. In (...) Somewhere on the LEGO site it says that Serial > USB is not compatable -- If you must, why not just buy a USB IR tower from PITSCO LEGODacta for $30? Try removing the calls to lr_startup() & lr_shutdown(). I think these already get called outside of your program. (Sorry, don't have time to test right now). (...) The Analog to Digital converter of the h8/300 (the brains of the lego mindstorms) is 10 bits, so it has a range of 0-1023.
