(...) true - but I think the RCX input is rated 9-12V. I don't have a train transformer here, but wouldn't it be outputing 12VDC? Can't imagine why they'd put a AC to DC converter in the regulator... What is the proper voltage for a external power supply for a 1.0 RCX? Can I use the power supply that goes with the 9v train speed regulator? I believe the train transformer outputs 12VAC. jt (23 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

I found in the linux pcmcia forum, that the serial pcmcia card from Socket Communications, which I want to use to download programs to rcx, sets the speed internally four times faster then expected. Is there a possibility in the firmdl3 and (...) (23 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Hallo Ross! I found in the linux pcmcia forum, that the socket pcmcia card, which I am using, sets the speed internally four times faster then expected.
