(...) true - but I think the RCX input is rated 9-12V. I don't have a train transformer here, but wouldn't it be outputing 12VDC? Can't imagine why they'd put a AC to DC converter in the regulator... What is the proper voltage for a external power supply for a 1.0 RCX? Can I use the power supply that goes with the 9v train speed regulator? I believe the train transformer outputs 12VAC. jt (23 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

I found in the linux pcmcia forum, that the serial pcmcia card from Socket Communications, which I want to use to download programs to rcx, sets the speed internally four times faster then expected. Hallo Ross! I found in the linux pcmcia forum, that the socket pcmcia card, which I am using, sets the speed internally four times faster then expected. Hi, I'd like to know what kind of adapter I could use (and how) for supplying my RCX with power, since it has no inlet. I have tried to use DC adapters for 6, 9, and 12 Volts, all without success. EmuLegOs now supports LegOS 0.2.4 API Those who have been on the list for awhile may remember the LegOS emulator EmuLegOs, which lets you run and debug your LegOS programs on your PC.
