(...) getopt.h is part of the standard gnu C libraries. In a normal Linux system, it is in /usr/include/. What compiler are you using on Solaris? Is it gcc or something else? No, I don't have it working yet. However, I've made progress, and I thought my experience might be helpful to others who are more savvy with the GNU tools than I am. - I did get everything to compile. Hi all, I think we have finally gotten a cross compiler built for Solaris. I am still not 100% sure. I will not say that we have until I have seen a robot driving around the table which has a program written in legOS and downloaded in it. However at (...) (...) Do you mean gcc 2.95.x ? If so, yes, i did it 2 days ago. The native compiler on my linux box (kernel 2.2.13, glibc 2.0 ) is a self compiled gcc 2.95.1. The cross compiler egcs-1.1.2 for h8300 built without problems on this machine, and i was (...) (26 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Hi Erik, Starting after the 1.0.7 version, echo from RCX was disabled (controlled by RCX_ECHO variable, off by default). Current version (1.1.0 as I remember) shouldn't show any echo. hi guys, I just started the pbforth for the first time! definitely interesting experience. I use the minicom to communicate with rcx now. it looks like it's working, I can start/stop motor etc... however it always puts every character I type twice (...) So, I have a quick question: has anyone built egcs 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 with gcc 2.9.5? I'm getting some very weird errors when I try to build the cross compiler- basically, it appears that the parser is trying to read certain comments as assembly (...)
