As far as I've seen in the SDK's released by Sony-Ericsson
Java programs do have full access to BT and camera.
I don't think the phone has enough hardware to perform any
image recognition more than very basic.
But I chose that model since it has a decent sdk on the web.
I have to admit that I haven't coded a line in Java yet.
But I've spent 20+ years coding in C and various assemblers
so I think I can learn to do what I want ;)
My target is obvious, I want to build a Sojourner or
Spirit/Oportunity Rovers, and one part of that is building
a robot who knows where it is.
I want to build/code a robot that can go to coordinates
x/y(/z), pick it up, and go home.
Ignoring carpets, doorways, gpigs and random fluff.
Before my NXT broke down I managed to teach ot how to
ignore gpigs, if it squeks and runs away, it's a gpig
not a valid target.
