Hello all!
I'd like to know if anybody ever tried to control a Nikon camcorder thru
it's IR sensor. I think that the codes are Sony compatible, since I saw an
identical camcorder, except that there was Sony trademark on it :). Anyway,
I only want to send the zoom control with the IR OUT port on the Handy
Board. Unfortunately, I think that the code being sent by the remote control
for the zoom control is 15 bits wide, instead of 12 bits wide. Can somebody
tell me how to modify the sony-transmit.asm file to make it compatible with
camcorder? or maybe a simpler solution that would "record" the bits (let's
say each 5 ms) and then playback the 'sample' when needed? I used the
sony_ir.icb and sony-transmit.icb files successfully with my stereo. And I
used REC80-Tx.ICB and REC80-Ir.ICB files with my video/TV set. I just can't
find how to read, record, and playback those damn incompatible ir codes

Thanks a lot guys! :)
Take care of your Handy Board!! ;D
