 | | Hey guys.  I've just finished building the Interface/Charger Serial Circuit.  In testing, when I shorted pin 6 of the MAX232 to
J9-pin7(ground), i get the correct -10V.  When I short pin 2 of the
MAX232 to ground, I get the correct +10V.  When I short J9=pin2 to
MAX232-pin6, the green LED correctly lights up.  When I measure from
 J9-pin7 to J9-PIN3 (The MAX232's serial output), i get the correct -10V.

HOWEVER, when i jumper the -10 volt supply (MAX232-pin6) to MAX232-pin10
and measure the same J9-pin7 to J9-pin3 I get this mind boggling
 3.70volts, instead of +10V!

I have done some testing,  with the circuit running normally, the
voltages through MAX232-pin6 and MAX232-pin10 is the correct 10 volts.
When I put MAX232-pin6 to ground, i get the correct -10V.  HOWEVER, when
I put MAX232-pin10 to ground, I get again, the mind boggling 3.7 Volts!
Guys, last time i did math, that's wrong! AHHHHHH!  Please help me!
 Thanks!

If you want e-mail me personally, PLEASE e-mail me at
michael.wong@sympatico.ca  THANKS!  Can't wait to get my handyboard up
 and running!
