I have not been able to get IC to accept any preprocessor functions such as
#define or #ifdef.  The c code therefore looks pitifully informal -
sprinkled with magic numbers instead of DEFINEd values.

Does anyone know if it can be done?

The manual that came with my HB from Digital Micro does not seem to mention
#define etc,  but the big PDF-format manual on the 6.270 (MIT ftp site),
which I believe has been variously quoted as the best info source on this
whole family of boards, DOES say that "6.8:  This year (?) IC will
automatically run input files thru the C preprocessor........   Using
#define ... can make your code more efficient ... " etc.

My IC.EXE is V2.860. I tried what came on the disk with my HB, and I tried
what is on the AKENT area on the MIT site.  No luck.

Anyone with any clues?
