Hi John,
  My experience was a little different. I was completely unable to get the
generic IR routines set up correctly after about 6 hours of fiddling. I went
out and bought a generic sony remote, used the Sony IR code and had it all
working in about a half hour. The remote cost me $15 and meant I didn't have
to use my tv/vcr remote.

John, Like you, I recently purchased a Handy Board from Acroname. After doing quite a bit of research on the Internet to determine what my first experimental robotics platform should be, I felt confident that the Handy Board was the best choice. If (...)
