hello,
i wrote a mail about an hour ago. this message was not really complete. i
shall explain the problem.
i am a student electrical engineering at the uneversity of twente, the
netherlands. we were ordered to design something. we decided to built a car
which could ride acros a room, without hitting anything. The car should also
be able to ride to a target. to make it much less complicated to handle, we
decided to use a handyboard. we also decided to built it ourselfs. this is
what we are doing at the moment.
we are building a handyboard. we ordered a pcb, so this works fine. we also
got most of the required parts. the only thing we didn't got, was the 1n914.
we did get the 1n4148.I wrote a letter to mister Martin. he said that the
1n4148 should work fine. he also told that I should send further question to
this adress. the 1n4148 can't be the problem. so we decided to continue our
search for other problems. my question is, which voltage there should stand
acros the diode. we measured 0.5v. is this the required voltage.
let me also explain our problem. the handyboard doesn't go to download mode.
so we can't program the handyboard. we are following the instructions given
in the incremental building instructions. what could be the problem.
greetings
