What kind?
If you have a handy board, use the IR port, there is no wiring
necessary.
Use a universal remote programmed for one of the sony IR methods, and
you are set. Then in software you decode the values.
The great thing about this, the values are pretty much what-you-want-
is-what-you-get. Press the one button, and the value returned is '1',
press two, and you get '2' etc. Play, record, and other values return
different things depending on if you are in VCR or TV mode.
You then use the LCD to display menus, and you can run one or more
programs under control of the remote.
