Want to use motors of different voltage than the 9V required by HandyBoard?

the 2 pins on the right marked '-'.  I plugged my motor drive battery pack (
4 Alkaline 'C' cells for 6.4v) into this header and WALLA, (WALLA ?) I have
a new battery drive voltage.

Thanks for this great tip - Can we also tie this second battery pack into
the nicad charging system somehow?

(...) Yes, I believe so. I was thinking of that last night but haven't had a chance to look it over. I think you would need to temporarally reconnect the cut with some form of voltage drop,(several diodes in series ?) when the charger is connected. (...)
