hello.
    I'm reading through the Robot builders bonanza, and I'm on pp.266. On
the bottom of the page (fig. 30-16), there is a tone generator that will
generate 2 ones. As printed, theres a chip (4071) that limits only one of
the tone jenerators to play at a time. If I  were to skip that chip and wire
both of the outputs from the chip to the one speaker, would it play
properly? I mean, 2 tones play at once, multiplexed?


Thanks. I would put down a schematic, but the circut is kind of
complicated.......
