I'm not sure if there are any stepper motor routines
out there for the handy board, but so far I was unable
to locate such function.

If anybody is interested in aquiring such function
I have written one, called steper()

The function takes an agular value and converts it to
a square wave output and directional output to be used
with a stepper motor controller IC such as UCN5804 or MC3479.

The program can be easily modified to suit application requirements.

I personally use it to steer my robot.

Any reply's are welcome!
