Hello handy boarders
I have a wire guided car that I want to us as a robot platform. It has
differential steering. The wiring of the two motors has a total of 3 wires with
a jumper cable between the two motors.
Can I wire the existing black, red, white wire to the handy board? Or do I need
to remove the existing 3 wires and attach a wire to each motor terminal and use
two motor ports on my handy board?
The other question:
Each motor has a capacitor between the terminals to eliminate voltage spikes. Is
this necessary? Should I leave them be or take them off before I connect the
motors to the handy board?
Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to actually attaching
something to my handyboard.
Michael
