A really good reference on the Motorola MC68HC11 family and
microcontrollers in general is "Design with Microcontrollers" by John
Peatman (ISBN 0-07-049238-7). It provides an excellent overview of the
HC11 and covers the hardware and software needed to embed this controller
into a design.
Any books on Interactive C other than the manual that came with it? I am
new to C for microcontrollers.
