I've created a MOSFET version of my H-bridge that is pretty general
purpose
and with the addition of a small mezzanine board becomes an electronic
speed
control. There is a web page that describes the PIC servo code at: :
http://www.professionals.com/~cmcmanis/robotics/servo.html
The above paper describes a bipolar transistor implementation of the
H-bridge.
The MOSFET version (15 - 25 Amps as outfitted) is shown at the following
link:
http://www.professionals.com/~cmcmanis/robotics/h-bridge/h-bridge.html
There are a couple of folks who have expressed an interest in these
things so I
thought I'd pass along the information. The Silicon Vally Homebrew Club
(http://www.augiedoggie.com/HBRC/) is building up about 16 of these to
power the motors in the SIG robots.

P.S. Links to the schematics are at the end of the article, they are
easy to miss!
