It looks like your resistors are burned due to the short circuit between
pin3 and pin4 of J10 on the charger board. I guess what you need is to
replace those resistors (R11 and R12) and yellow LED, and the charger
board
will work again. Those resistors and LED can be purchased from Radio Shack
or any electronic junk shop.

Hello all,

I was charging my HB the other day, and suddenly, the two resistors • right
by
the yellow "charge" LED on the serial interface ckt. went up in smoke. • Has
this happened to anyone else?
