| | | Ihave this problem, the reason be a capacitor in short randomly. Touch every cap., and search any hot , that is the very fast way to discover :))) !!!! Then unsolder any pin of this cap and search again. So probably the 5 volts at the out of 7805 go (...) (27 years ago, 25-Jul-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
