'a0 is an earlier and discontinued version of the 'a1.

'e1 has some different features than the 'a1 but is almost identical
for HB purposes.  'e1 has a little more internal RAM (which isn't
really used by Interactive C) and some more flexibility on the Port A
pins.

'a1T is probably the Toshiba version of the 'a1, which is identical to
the a1.

so any of the above will work fine.

Fred,

Where can one find info on the A1 vs E1 differences you mention.
This is not in the 68HC11 reference manual (pink book).

Thanks,
