For all of you who have looked at my design for a 16 sensor IR proximity
detector I have a few updates for you.  I have been working with the
circuit for about a week now and I have discovered a few things that will
make the circuit more stable.  They are:

1. Place a >300uF cap across the power leads.  This will cut down on a
LARGE number offalse signals

2. Depending on if your circuit is false trigering you may need to add an
aditional 10uF cap from the output to ground on each of the detectors.

3. Place a 500 ohm pull-up resistor on the output from the 74150 (pin 10).
This helps the HB register the state change.

That is all I can think of right now,  I will have the schematic updated on
my web page and the HB web page as soon as I can.  Thanks to all of you who
have considered my design.  If you have any questions please feel free to
contact me.
