Hi All,

      some questions on the IR transmitter.....

  This is what i get on my scope when i connected the +ve to the
anode of the LED and -ve to the GND of a digital pin on the HB.
  then i poked(0x1000, 0x40)

  ------||-------||---------||-------||----
    ->  <--             -->         <-----
      3microsec              15microsec

The square waves look like small pertubations and are of very small
amplitude, probbaly 0.1V. Theres a DC offset when i switch on the HB
of 1.5V. This doesnt look right to me.

  40KHz, ie(25microsec) is it the time period of the high
signal (in the fig its 3microsec)
OR
the distance btw one high to another high? (15microsec in fig)

moreover is the square pulse the time of charging and discharging of th
e CAP C6? what should be the amplitude of the pulse?

Thanks
Sriram
