Dear Handy Board & Interactive-C Users,
Digital Micro Systems is pleased to offer Interactive-C v 3.1 online.
We have been accepting online orders since Thursday, April 24, 1997 at:
http://www.dmsc.com/ic
DMSC has been working closely with Newton Labs to bring this new method
of online ordering to the Handy Board user group. However, due to
technical difficulties associated with instantaneous credit card
validation, we have been supplying a 7-day temporary key, followed by a
permanent key sent via e-mail.
Some customers have expressed concern that their 7-day keys were nearing
the expiration date, and that they had not received the new, permanent
keys. Currently all valid orders placed before the morning of May 1,
1997 have been fulfilled. Any customers with incomplete or invalid
orders have been so notified. If you placed an order with us, but were
not notified, please send e-mail to me at: prabal@dmsc.com
As the system architect for the online order system, I am currently the
only person at DMSC who has full access to the internals of the system.
Unfortunately, I was out of town from 4/24/97 through 5/1/97, and was
only able to supply the new keys on the 7-th day. I apologize for any
inconvenience this may have caused.
Customers should rest assured that they are not billed until we are
prepared to either ship the order, or e-mail a permanent key. We look
forward to hearing your feedback on ways to improve the system (yes - I
hear quicker key turnaround :-). Thank you for bearing with us as we
work out the wrinkles in this new automated online order system. Thank
you all for your continued interest in Digital Micro Systems. Please do

I can't seem to find any e-mail address for customer support other than webmaster@, anyone know (...) (28 years ago, 2-May-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
