AAAARRRGGGHHHHHH!! After the pain of relearning assembler and getting
interrupt routines to work, it seems my assumption of the availability of
TOC 2 & 3 is incorrect. I need 2 (wanted 4) pulse trains to go out.
According to the diagrams Fred pointed me towards (thanks, Fred), only
TOC3 is available (pin 7 of J3). TOC2 is used by IR Xmit, TOC4 by the LCD
display, and TOC5 by the piezo buzzer. If I turn off IR Xmit, and load in
a new TOC2 interrupt routine, will the TOC2 I set be left alone? And can
I still have IR Rcv?
Thanks for everyone's indulgence, I am making progress, albeit somewhat
glacial :-)
