JTW,
Use 1n4002, 1n4004, etc - they are higher rated parts and usually the
same price (which is why 1n4001 has been discontinued - everybody
upgraded for free!).

Hey all,
Mouser (and Digi-Key, etc.) say that the signal diode 1N4001 has been
discountinued, I can't seem to locate any one who has them. This small
partis holding up the project. Anybody have extras? Ideas?
