Today I was at The Computer Museum, Boston, presenting The Handy Board,
and non-commercial controlers called Crickets. The HB was working fine,
but one time I turned it on. It diplayed:
"IC v3.1 Bet"
an the heart stopped beating. It seems as if it wouldn't "boot"
correctly. When I held the start button while I turned it on, to
disable the main function, it booted fine. I also can go forward on
motor 0 but I can't go in reverse. I recently had I terrible hardware
crash. While I was disconnecting the battery leads one of them scraped
along the bottom of the board, and blew a couple of chips. Fred Martin
looked at the board and replaced the chips for me. One of the L293
chips?? Any comments would be welcomed.
