I would like to replace the battery used on my handyboard with a

12V Lead Acid Battery, either 1.3 ah or 2.2ah.

Would I need to make any modifications to the power regulator or
charging circuity for this to work?

Since the HB charges at 50 mah, I release it would take a long time to
charge it.  Can I just modify the board to put out 100mah instead?
