Jan, Do you have the expansion board? If so, have you tried removing it and seeing if the display works on the Handy Board by itself? What makes you think the display is damaged? What are the symptoms? Does IC still work, even though the display is (...) (25 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Q: 10 dc motors on handyboard?
 
Does anyone know if handyboard can run more than four dc-motors? I want to be able to control a complex lego construction, with full control of all motors at once. The current flow shouldn't be to dramatic, I hope. I would also like to ask how it is (...) (25 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

hi dennis, well, it's just a plain C/10 charge circuit. but i was under the impression that nicad's aren't damaged by that. it's possible i'm wrong :-). any other battery experts out there? fred In your message you said: (...) ly (...) ut (...) (...) I was guessing here - most chargers don't check for peak charge, since I didn't know if the Handiboard charger did or didn't... If the charger has a trickle charge of more than C/50 or C/100 then NiCds will be damaged eventually on a long-term (...) (25 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
