(...) The dinsmore devices are really easy to work with. This one has 4 hall effect devices in it, and the output is digital. If you align it with cardinal coordinates you can tell North, East, South, and West very easily only one device is (...) (26 years ago, 5-Feb-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Hi, I found this on the internet, and I wanted to know if anyone is using it: (URL) produce a digital Compass which is very cheap ($12 only). Anyone already used such a compass ?
