  Re: IR Collision avoidance

(...) Resistors in series with LEDs are generally current limiters, meaning that the LED is very low resistance when conducting, so the resistor is the determinant of current flow. With the little colored LEDs I teach my students to hook up a 1K pot (...) (28 years ago, 13-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Servos

I have tried to use my servo with the HB, but the icb that I have does not reflect the documentation in given in the HB manual that I have. There is reference made to servo_on() and servo_deg() which is not in the icb file that I have of the servo. (...) (28 years ago, 13-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  High amperage charge

I have read in the HB Manual that people have experienced difficulty when useing high amperage transformers to charge the HB.I am interested in chargeing the HB with a 12 volt automotive circuit. Is this possible.   Re: IR Collision avoidance

(...) My question is...in the first diagram (below) the resistance is 220 ohm ie 0.2KOhm But in the second diagram the resistances are 2.2KOhm Which is the correct one? ---...--- (...) (28 years ago, 12-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: 100 sensors

(...) A resistor ladder is simply several resistors, connected in series with a switch between each one. On the handyboard you would do something like this: VCC ---\/\/\/---\/\/\/--.../---...--- | | | | | | \ SW1 \ SW2 \ SW3 \ SW4 \ SW5 | \ \ \ \ \ (...)
