| Just to be clear, I wanted to ask if I am right to think that the HB, with no expansions, is configurable for ONLY 5 digital outputs? I'm aware of the #9 pin on the output bus. It works fine. But, if someone could explain in more detail the J6 (...) (28 years ago, 7-Feb-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

| More servo outputs would be great. I too would like to control a lynxmotion arm with the handyboard. Or perhaps a legged robot with servos or servo controlled hydraulics. I vote for more outputs. | It is largely a space issue, not only for chips but connectors. It definitely would be feasible to remove one of the analog muxes and substitute an output latch in its place. Then the specs would be 8 general purpose, 4 hi impedance, 4 LEGO analog (...) (28 years ago, 7-Feb-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
