Hey Everybody, Quick question for you. Just bought two Polaroid ultrasonic ranging modules, and I would like to know if I must use the Propulse batteries and holder that the manual suggests.   10 or 12 bit A/D?

(...) I concur here, I have a 6inch X 6inch piece of aluminium for 2 of them, and this seems to dissapate all the heat I am generating.   12V batteries
 
I need a source for a good 12V battery. I'm thinking gel cell to keep the weight and size to a minimum. I found a 12V lead acid at Radio Shack, which is a good size but it's too heavy.
